Current use

The Things to Say website and recipient message viewer currently do not use advertising, behavioural-tracking or personalised-advertising cookies. The mobile app uses the operating system's secure storage and device-notification services rather than cookies.

Essential technical technologies

In the future, essential technical cookies or similar technologies may be used for sessions, security, language preferences, load balancing or abuse prevention. They operate only to the extent needed to provide the requested service, and blocking them may prevent sign-in or core functions from working.

Analytics, marketing and third-party technologies

If non-essential analytics, measurement, personalisation or advertising technologies are introduced, their purposes, providers, retention periods and international-transfer details will be explained separately. Consent will be obtained before use where required, and consent will not be made a condition of essential service functions.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential technical technologies may affect sign-in, security or message viewing.

This notice will be updated when the technologies we use change. The current version is published in the app and on the website.
